When I’m not exploring magical places, investigating mysterious phenomena, or time traveling, I enjoy a quiet life with my husband and two imaginative sons near Utah’s Wasatch Range. In college, I majored in elementary education and minored in history, and have lived in five states and one Canadian province.

Some of my favorite things: chai tea, photography, board games, bookstores, LEGOs, and road trips.

I am a member of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA), a managing editor at Flash Fiction Online, and a former contributor to the Operation Awesome blog.
